![]() Typically Nisus's point upgrades would be a full upgrade in most other programs. NWP is on v.2.0.1 right now, but it was built on NW Express which came before it and is still available. Upgrading is very conservative and highly responsive to user input. Making the file format only compatible with Macintosh HFS systems. However, going the other way is not always totally reliable Word has some odd features that NWP hasn't got, it is best to have MS Word users "save as" to RTF format. Nisus Writer classic software originally saved to a special file format which separated the plain text into the data fork and the formatting, font information, graphics, sounds, etc into the Resource Fork. I know these are three features we have been longing for for quite some time, but Ori has mentioned that the next Mellel version is due within a month or so. I’m still not sure how I’ll use this blog, but right now I just felt the need to praise Nisus Writer Pro and a feature I’ve just discovered: Same page section breaks. I assume word processing is a primary interest because you speak of "Word I don't do graphics in NeoOffice (I use the no-longer-developed-for-Mac, Canvas X, for that, complimented by PhotoLine for some picture editing).īut it depends on what you want to do. … use NeoOffice (for preference in my case) for spreadsheets and stuff. ![]()
